MBA graduate with broad interests …

Mente obtained her Bachelor’s degree in American Studies in Groningen, which is also where she earned her MBA. After that, she was eager to work in the healthcare sector because as she herself says: ‘I want what I do to have added value. And where else can you help more people than in healthcare?’ At the same time, she didn’t see herself working at the bedside. With her eye for interoperability and fascination with organizations, getting into consulting was an easy choice to make.

Cooking! That’s Mente’s big hobby. She loves spending the whole day – or whole days – in the kitchen. For friends, or just for herself.

Mente is strong in thinking in terms of and working on projects and gets energy from working with healthcare professionals – especially on the basis of facts and data. She enjoys contributing her thoughts and working with others and is concerned with the nuts and bolts of the job as well as the relationships in and around it. What she really likes is to straighten out processes so that they take firm hold. ‘Tangible solutions to tangible problems: that’s what it’s about.’
