Aukje obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences in Rotterdam and followed that up at the same place with two Master’s degrees: Medical Law and Health Economics, Policy and Law. That makes perfect sense to Aukje: the legal side of healthcare is fascinating, but she doesn’t want to limit herself to just law. Actually she wants to work with as many aspects of healthcare as possible. And that’s exactly what she does as a consultant.

Aukje loves sports. Most days she does fitness training, but she also likes winter sports, water-skiing, in-line staking and bicycle racing.
