Bart studied Nursing in Utrecht and worked as a senior nurse in geriatric psychiatry. It was a nice and rewarding job, but he wanted to make even more impact. That – coupled with his fascination with group dynamics – is why he pursued Master’s degrees in Social Psychology and Management Sciences next to his work. After that, Bart worked as a manager in forensic psychiatry and headed up projects to redesign care routes, for instance.

When not at work, Bart likes to get out on his bike. Racing bike, mountain bike or gravel bike: it doesn’t matter as long as it goes fast. And as long as there’s a challenge. Like ascending Mont Ventoux in France three times in one day.
