Epidemiologist with a love of people and data …

Daphne has been studying Biomedical Sciences in Nijmegen where she is about to finish her Master’s degree in Epidemiology. At the same time, she and P5COM have been helping healthcare organizations improve in practice. It’s a great combination: ‘What’s cool about epidemiology is the data-driven way that we tackle and resolve issues. That’s exactly what I do as a consultant, but then with a direct impact in practice.’

When not working, Daphne loves to go backpacking. She doesn’t need to travel for a long time, as long as it’s faraway, such as from Mexico to Tierra del Fuego.

… who helps organizations create structure

Daphne is goals-oriented, analytical and good at distinguishing between primary and secondary issues. That helps her quickly create structure in seeming chaos. And to cut to the core of a challenge, she always seeks a dialog. ‘Data often gives you a good lead for finding solutions. But you need to talk to people to understand the challenge that employees and customers are really facing.’
