Business economist with a love of technology and healthcare …

Michiel studied Economics in Groningen and then worked as a program and project manager for large organizations in the IT, retail, telecom and energy sectors. He worked in the Netherlands and internationally and was often the bridge between technicians and management. He does the same – with great pleasure – in the healthcare industry: ‘In healthcare, the primary process always takes priority. A patient is always more important than my project. And I think that’s great. It shows the value of the sector.’

Michiel is an early riser and often starts the day off with a trip to the gym. He just loves sports, whether that’s sailing, standup paddleboarding, diving or skiing.
