Matthijs studied Facility Management in Wageningen and obtained his MBA in Rotterdam. After that, he went to work as a manager in the pharmaceuticals industry, set up a business in custom-made suits, helped groups of pharmacists improve their sales, and more. Matthijs is strong in empathy and analysis – and he’s creative too. He enjoys working with others to come up with good ideas and gets everyone on board in putting those ideas into practice.

Matthijs once played soccer at a high amateur level, and today he’s just as fanatic a few notches down: as a player and as a coach.
